Team work makes the dream work!

As physiotherapists we rely on the support, knowledge and encouragement from other physio's. We love to treat patient's holistically and that can mean referring through to other healthcare professionals to make use of their specialities, so when Emma Marsh from Fellside physio told me she was expanding and opening The Health Collective I knew I needed to be in on this partnership. Lakeland Women's Health Physiotherapy strives to offer a well rounded treatment program to all its client, with this in mind Kirsty has completed training in Lower Bowel Dysfunction as is now able to assess and treat patients for Lower Bowel conditions.

Lakeland Women's Health Physiotherapy Launches

After years of working as a physiotherapist for other companies or as an associate for Fellside Physiotherapy (an amazing musculoskeletal and sport physiotherapy company) Kirsty made the leap and launched Lakeland Women's Health Physiotherapy, a specialist pelvic health physiotherapy company dedicated to improving women's health.

The Health and Care Professions Council

All physiotherapists at Lakeland Women's Health Physiotherapy are registered with The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) The professional body regulating health and care professionals. It is a legal requirement for all practicing Physiotherapists in the UK to be registered with this body.

The Chartered Society of Physiotherapists

The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) is the professional, educational and trade union body for the UK's 64,000 chartered physiotherapists, physiotherapy students and support workers. All physiotherapists at Lakeland Women's Health Physiotherapy are member of the CSP.

Pelvic Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy (POGP) 

The POGP is a UK based Professional Network affiliated to the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.

Members of the POGP are chartered physiotherapists with a clinical interest and/or speciality in pelvic, obstetric and gynaecological physiotherapy. All Lakeland Women's Health Physiotherapy physiotherapist are members or associate members of the POGP.
